Wheels, Tires, Brakes!

The Shelby GT-S is grounded by Shelby X-Comp performance tires mounted to aluminum 20” x 9.5” front and 20” x 11” rear wheels manufactured by the Carroll Shelby Wheel Company. Behind the wheels are performance Brembo brakes, finished in Sixt black and orange colors done specifically for the Shelby GT-S program.

All Shelby GT-S Mustangs are Supercharged from the factory with a Shelby by Edlebrock 600+ horsepower supercharger. If owners of the retired vehicles want more horsepower, options are available to boost the Shelby to 700+ or even over 800 horsepower! The Shelby GT-S Mustang starts with a fully loaded 401A package Mustang. Shelby then adds premium leather seats with orange inserts and stitching to match Sixt company colors. Shelby floor mats, sill plates, and serialized dash plates polish off the luxurious interior.

Twenty Shelby GT-S sports cars will be built by Shelby American at its Las Vegas facility for rental in the summer of 2019. Each fastback will be powered by a supercharged 5.0L V8 and 10 speed automatic transmission. Shelby tailored the suspension to maximize the car’s capabilities without sacrificing ride quality. The Brembo brakes have impressive stopping power to match the Shelby’s amazing power. The exterior features proprietary bodywork, SIXT badges and stylish new wheels, while Shelby touches can be found throughout the interior. Many of the components were developed specifically for SIXT’s Shelby GT-S program

Once the cars are retired from rental duty, they will be available for purchase and the new owners can return their Shelby GT-S to the factory for further enhancements.
