Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK), has been commissioned to build a group of exclusive supercharged 2019 Shelby GT’s for SIXT Rent A Car. Based on the world-class Ford Mustang fastback, the 600+ horsepower “Shelby GT-S” announced today in Southern California is the first supercharged V8 powered Shelby rental car offered by a national chain in history. Clad in the company’s iconic orange and black, the first 20 cars will be available for rent at select Southern California, Southern Florida and Las Vegas locations.

LAS VEGAS, NV – Prepared in collaboration with Goodyear to validate a new line of Goodyear tires, the one-and-done 1967 Shelby GT500 Super Snake is now on display at the Shelby Heritage Center in Las Vegas. This Shelby sold for a staggering $2.2 million at auction in January, making a record for the most expensive Mustang ever sold at auction. The car will join CSX2000, the first Shelby Cobra, during a special extended display through April 30, 2019.

GARDENA, CA – Neil Cummings, Co-President of the Carroll Shelby Foundation presented a $5,000 check to executives with Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) in Loma Linda, California, on November 5, 2018. The donation was made in celebration of tenacious 13-year-old Codi Pelton, whose story inspired the charity’s board of directors to support the hospital’s cardiac intensive care unit with money and gifts.
